Overview & Character
The 1999 Kawasaki W650 is one of the more faithful tributes to the classic British twin look, combining retro aesthetics with Japanese engineering. It carries forward Kawasaki’s “W” lineage (W1, W2, W3) but with modern internals.
In original condition, the W650 is cherished by purists because it retains much of its factory charm — from the beveled-gear overhead cam to the twin exhausts, and minimal electronic intervention.
